Verse
2:
Hear our prayers, O Lord,
Give Your blessing, Lord,
Hear the praise we offer to You,
And as we go our separate ways,
Be there in all we do.
a
In the morning time, in the eventide,
In the darkest night, in the day,
We’ll praise You, Lord, at ev’ry time
Because of Your great grace.
Verse
2: Confession
a
Hear our prayer, O Lord,
Give Your grace, O Lord,
As we bring our sins unto You,
And as we come on bended knee,
We plead for mercy new.
aa
In the morning time,
In the eventide,
In the darkest night, in the day,
Lord, cleanse our hearts and sinful souls
Because of Your great grace.
Verse
3:
In this Lenten tide,
In these forty days,
Let us bring our hearts near to You,
For You have brought to us Your Son,
With grace like morning dew.
aa
As the darkness falls
And the ev’ning fades,
Let our hearts in joy be unfurled,
For You, our Lord, have sent Your Son
To save our sinful world.
